Captain Brian grew up on the Severn River, living and working in his great grandfather’s marina, Smith’s Marina. He has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Washington University in St Louis and was a Washington State Trooper before returning to Maryland in 2009. Brian is currently a Certified Financial Planner™️ and Financial Advisor. With TowBoatUS since 2016, he holds a 100-ton master with towing endorsement, CPR certification and is a PADI Advanced Open Water diver. Brian lives in Pasadena with his wife, Christine and their three dogs.
