After more than twenty years in emergency services and civil engineering, Erick obtained his captain’s license and joined TowBoatUS in 2017. A firefighter for nearly thirty years, he currently works for a local fire department and holds numerous fire, EMS and HAZMAT certifications. Currently living on Seneca Creek, Captain Erick can be found fishing, exploring or relaxing somewhere on the Chesapeake Bay with his wife, Captain Julie and their dog Roxy when he’s not working.
